Turn Little Gamers into Big Readers

Frustrated that your kids only want to play video games this summer? Wish they would read instead? Have we got a book for you!

You can tap into your kids’ natural interest in video games to encourage more reading with a new book, a free app, and a once-in-a-lifetime contest.

In the latest story from the Subject Scouts® chapter book series, four kids spend a rainy morning making a video game app. After reading the book, kids can download and play the game in real life for free. If that weren’t enough to get kids interested in reading this summer, the publisher is also sponsoring a contest to let kids design their own video game. The winning entry will be turned into a real, playable app.
The new Subject Scouts® book about video games is geared for kids ages 6 - 10 and is available in both ebook and paperback formats.  Parents can get the book, the free app, and a contest entry form at http://www.subjectscouts.com/hivehopper
